Chest Pigmentation

What is dark spot

Pigmented lesions (dark spots on the skin caused by a higher concentration of melanin) such as sun spots, freckles, melasma and more, are incredibly common among the entire population. While some pigmented lesions are present at birth, sun damage and aging are often at fault. In fact, many clinical studies have shown that the presence of pigmented lesions on the face can cause patients to look significantly older than their chronological age. In addition to being wide-spread among patients, many common benign pigmented lesions are typically easy to treat and results are seen quickly. This can translate to high patient satisfaction.  As a leader in the cosmetic laser industry, Alma Lasers offers practitioners advanced options to safely and effectively treat benign pigmented lesions on the face, chest, hands and more.
